My sister's looking to buy this laptop: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-envy-15-6-touch-screen-laptop-amd-fx-series-6gb-memory-1tb-hard-drive-natural-silver/4227800.p?id=1219710236167&skuId=4227800

However, we're a tad concerned about the 6Gb memory, because I suggested to her that good laptops should have 8Gb or more.

So, I was thinking of switching out the HP RAM modules and replacing them with this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231726&cm_re=2x4gb_DDR3L_ram-_-20-231-726-_-Product

First of all, are these modules compatible with the laptop? Secondly, is it worth spending 50 dollars more for an extra 2Gb of memory? Also, I'm aware that one can buy a better laptop for this price, but my sister loves the look of this thing.

For that use, there is no need to spend an extra $50 on more RAM.

Right now, she wants to do relatively basic things such as writing documents, browsing the web (e.g., YouTube, Gmail), and streaming Netflix.
