Worth upgrade

I am looking at adding an SSD to my Dell Latitude D430 notebook. The problem is that it uses a 1.8" ZIF drive, so my options are quite limited.

Think it would still be worth doing, or would I be better off purchasing one of the lower-priced 11.6" notebooks on the market so I could do a standard 2.5"?

I'm using this notebook for pretty simple stuff- web, Office apps, email primarily.

I would wait for ivy bridge laptops and then upgrade. The integrated graphics and power usage will be significantly improved.
