Is the GTX 1050ti 4GB GPU recently released for laptops up to the job of gaming for the next couple of years in 1080p?
I’ve seen lots of reviews and Youtube videos where the 1050ti is either shown to run at an average of 60fps+ in high/maximum settings or it’s either around half of that or around 50fps on medium settings so I really don’t know what to think. I’m well aware this is a low end GPU – however I’d hope in 1080p it could achieve decent frame rates at decent settings for current gen games, and be perfectly usable for the next couple of years.
Has anyone got a laptop 1050ti and can relay their experience?
To step up to a 1060 looks like it’ll be around £200 more so that’s a jump, but ultimately, if the 1050ti wouldn’t be up to the job that £200 wouldn’t be a bad investment.
Thanks,
