Is there software or hardware to record and or burn netflix and TV shows and movies?

if you are referring to copying a netflix "rental" movie then we can not help you. a rental is not a license to own and therfore is illegal. do your own research www.google.com

if you are referring to a netflix movie that you bought and own (note: not rental) then yes there are programs out there which allow you to copy the movie for backup purposes.

Theoretically this is pretty much frowned upon.

Now on a side note, if you haven't figured out how to do this, you could use something like this little proggy to record Netflix streaming movies, for example.

Works pretty good but you should keep in mind that this solution is only meant to be used for personal use only, not for spreading the movies around or anything like that. 😗

its a fine line to walk.

technically you do not "own" the movie. you are "renting". copying said movies are the same as borrowing a movie from your buddy and making a copy. it could be considered pirating and thus we shouldnt discuss such things on this forum.
