Would this laptop be able to run AUTOCAD?

I have an unused laptop with a core i3-2350M sitting in my closet. I'm going to college soon and I need a laptop that can run AUTOCAD due to my major. I heard that I'm just going to be doing basic stuffs that don't require too much computing power. I wonder whether my laptop can handle it or I need to buy a new one. What do you think?
