Would you pay this for a gaming laptop?

I am looking at getting this laptop, http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/vortexIV-LE/, but with the following changes to the configuration:

Core i7-4700MQ
8GB RAM
770M
500GB HDD 7,200RPM
No OS

In USD, that works out $1,255.90 (as of now) without an OS. considering it has a pretty powerful GT 770m, I would get it. A similar laptop in the US with the GT 770m and an OS generally sells for about $1,600 - $1,700.

Yea you should be able to play most games on med to high settings, that processor is known for running a bit hot so unless if this laptop has great cooling features you will probably need a laptop cooler, also since you plan on gaming I recommend a larger HDD (1 TB is good). The 770M is quite a jump from a 765M
