[citation][nom]shanky887614[/nom]andriod's dont really crash its the people that use thempeople complain that there phone crashes are normally running unstable custom roms. go download a stable rom guys. i just switched to ginger stir fry from cyangenmod. its quicker, crashes less often and does what i want it to doiphones look nice and are good for non tech savy people but im not paying the premium for apple products[/citation]
I'm a bit of an Android fan and picked up a Galaxy Nexus yesterday. I installed some apps/widgets from the android marketplace and now my phone is stuck in a boot-loop. I can't even get it to go into recovery mode. So its not just people causing these issues, there are still bugs to be worked out.

if the OS was so good then you should not have to removed the battery at all....then again we don't live in a perfect world

[citation][nom]The greater Good[/nom]If my Android does go into a boot-loop or crashes because of something I did, I can just pull the battery. 🙂[/citation]

Did it crossed you mind that it's a problem with the software you installed and not with the android OS itself?

Glad you have that option since you probably need it quite often!

[citation][nom]applegetsmelaid[/nom]Until Android can get me laid I'm sticking with iOS.[/citation]
So what you are saying is you are so lame you need a fashion statement in order to get laid? That's pretty sad, I'll stick to using Android, avoiding iOS (don't like the OS at all) and still getting laid regularly. You have fun using electronic devices as pick up lines 😛

So you installed CRAP on the phone and it crashed and it's the phones fault ?

[citation][nom]Thunderfox[/nom]Woz is lucky Steve Jobs is already dead. Jobs would have him killed for a remark like that.[/citation]

No, he would have yelled at him, then cried followed by a walk around Apple labs

If your Android is reading that you will have to rely on your iPhone for a month or so 🙂

it's a developer phone, stick it into recovery mode and format it and test out what goes well and what causes issues. 😛

Woz is one of the few company founders who actually takes an objective view point of the products from the company he co-founded which is a rarity. He goes for honesty rather then just telling people that every Apple product is a godlike revolutionary product, that is what ive always liked about Woz.

[citation][nom]extremepcs[/nom]Funny that he waited until Jobs was gone... Probably out of fear.[/citation]
Yes. Steve Jobs will probably hire a hitman to take Woz out if he mentioned anything remotely not Apple-friendly!

YEAH ANDROID! EVEN BETTER: DROID RAZR!!! I OWN ONE TOO! HIGH FIVE!

although technically you referred to the droid razr smartphone by the name of its dumb phone, "motorola razr". it's supposed to be "motorola droid razr" for the smartphone.

There are lots of other things which Android does which iOS or even WP doesn't do, e.g.:

1. Crashing for no apparent reason whenever it wants to.
2. Crawling to a halt again for no reason
3. Touchscreen API getting stuck making you use your smartphone with available key(s) only.
4. Rebooting even when Idle

These few issues didn't happen on just one set, I've own a Galaxy S / HTC Desire / and now HTC Sensation ......... hell Lumia 800 feels lot faster than the Sensation (on 2.3.4) and it is a single core phone ........... so there I'd rather have an 4S instead of an smartphone with inherently unstable OS.

lol.

It's interesting that he mentions navigation (for which there are thousands of apps), and Voice control (for which there is either Siri - which is regarded as the best in the world), or a wide selection of other voice control apps.

Certainly not areas in which functionality is lacking (on any OS).

I know several iPhone users that will disagree with your list, as they too get reboots and crashes.
