I have a pcoket PC with an 802.11b,
I recetnly implemented WPA security but the PPC does not seem able to
connect.
Does PPC support WPA? Is there a patch or something.

Robert,

Pocket PC's don't currently support WPA encryption, those that are
upgraded to WIndows Mobile 2003 Second Edition will have WPA support
natively. You may be able to get it to work via third party workarounds
and drivers(I think Funk Software has some), but I have not heard of
anyone being successful with it. Currently the only way to secure a
connection via encryption on a PPC is still WEP, VPN, digital certificates
or a combination.

Currently WM2K3SE is slated for release 2H 2004.

At this time the pocket pc doesn't support wpa, windows mobile 2003 Second
Edition adds wpa support but there is not time frame when it will be
available or by which oem's. Your only option at this point is to look at
www.funk.com they have a wpa client for the ppc.

Look at the Meetinghouse offerings also, they may be relatively cheap.
