Wrong BIOS Update

Hi guys,
I just purchased an ASUS GL502VM gaming laptop and updated the BIOS due to lagging in games as recommended by other forums but I updated the wrong BIOS. I mistakenly updated the BIOS for the GL502VMK instead of GL502VM ("K" is the only difference in model names). My laptop works fine, nevertheless. I tried using Winflash to update the BIOS to the right one but Winflash wouldn't allow me and show the message "BIOS file is not valid". I would sincerely appreciate any recommendations.

K version is for 7th Generation Kaby Lake CPUs
Intel Core i7 7700HQ Processor,
Intel Core i5 7300HQ Processor
Intel HM175 Express Chipset

The older version is for 6th Generation Skylake CPUs
Intel Core i7 6700HQ Processor,
Intel Core i5 6300HQ Processor
Intel HM170 Chipset

It is possible to trick a motherboard BIOS into being a different model. You can replace the BIOS chip if you want.

My laptop has the Intel Core i7 7700HQ Processor but it's not the K version. My laptop is working fine with this the BIOS for the K version. Is it possible that the BIOS for the K version is compatible with mine ?

vmk bios is fine K just stands for kabylake bios don't worry about it
