Www dell latutude c840 internal hard drives

My name I sMr I. Thomson I have been given the above laptop but I cannot access it (administrators required which I do not have. Would a new internal hard drive and memory overcome this problem?

You mean you cannot access windows because there is a password or there is a password prompt when you first turn the computer on?
