If the xbox had a blu ray player I might even be tempted to buy one.

i highly doubt they'll integrate it into the console, but of course, microsoft would charfe $150 for a piece of additional garbage... i pass, i'd rather buy a player for my pc, and connect it to my monitor instead of getting that garbage

I'd much rather watch a bluray movie on my 57" HD TV than my 22" monitor. I'd say your train of thought is garbage.

What I don't get is why are they always so secretive about future releases like this? EVERYONE knows they're going to make a bluray addon eventually, why the hell don't they just come out and say "we're workin on it" ? I guess it's too much free publicity when news sites will run rumors about your product over and over again.

To jkflipflop... Before accusing anyone of making stupid statements you ought to revise your own trains of thought. What eklipz330 meant to say is why would one buy a Blu-ray add-on for a 360 when you can easily buy a drive for a PC and then hook it up to a monitor (a.k.a visual display unit - yes that includes TVs!).

I'm sure you can identify on your own the possible benefits of that scenario.

Because it's impossible to hook up a computer to a TV or even have a monitor that is that size in the first. Idiot.

yeh good one kami3k! jkflipflop98 has obviously never heard of a Home Theatre PC. Putting a blue ray drive in a HTPC (if you already oen one) would give you much better diversity and be a hell of a lot cheaper than a stand alone blue ray player.

Microsoft always has the perfect formula for success, but it always messes up, ROD!!!! I haven't seen one model of the 360 that doesn't have the ROD , come on!!!!! best games worst reliable machine.
