hi i have brought a sony blu ray dvd and surround sound now when i have connected through hdmi from blu ray to tv everything works apart from my audio when watching my virgin tv help

You will need to connect your TV audio output to the soundbar. How you do this depends on the connections that the TV and Sony home theater in a box have. Most likely the TV has optical digital audio output so hopefully you have an input on the Sony like this. If you use a set top box then the audio out of this can be connected directly to the Sony instead of the TV.
