Solved! XP drivers for emachines E528

hello, i just purchased a emachines(E528) laptop last night to realize that it only comes with windows 7 drivers. the drivers on their website also are for windows 7 only. i need to run windows xp to keep my work software running. any help would be really appreciated?

That almost certainly means there are no drivers written for XP.
Drivers are software programs written for a specific OS and a specific piece of hardware.

You're best bet is to run a dual boot setup with BOTH Win7 and WinXP installed.
Hopefully, WinXP/SP3 will have the right drivers, or a generic driver that works with your laptop hardware.
