Hello folks, here is the deal,
I am running Yamaha R-N602 with Tonsils and I would like to connect it to the PC avoiding massive audio lag I am currently having.

I started with a Wi-fi/Ethernet + some streaming software using an Airplay feature with no luck whatsoever. The lag is about 0.5-1sec.
There are a bunch of other ways, but as I lack the cables required I cannot really test them blindly to see if anything works.
My PC doesn't run a soundcard, so all I have are the basic outputs.

Could you please advise me what to buy and how to connect it to make it work?

Solution
If you connect headphones to the analog audio output of the PC and don't notice any lag then that will certainly work for you. If you are running the receiver in surround then select a mode to create surround sound from a stereo input,
To get digital surround sound you would need to add a soundcard with optical audio output and use an optical cable. It would sound better.
