Hello, I have a RX-V1065 receiver. Bought it new, recently bought a better quality center channel speaker. Any time a signal is supplied or removed from this channel the speaker emits a loud pop. It is not the speaker, I have checked using another speaker on the center channel. It's possible the receiver has been doing this all along and my other speaker was not of a sufficient quality to pick it up, because when I connect it the popping sound is not audible. Possible warranty repair?

That sort of behavior is only typical with powered transducers, not passive ones like your speakers. So you definitely should take it to the shop.
