I have a Yamaha RX-V383 receiver along with a Vizio E601i-a3. I’ve been using a Roku Streaming Stick (3800XB) which outputs 1080p going straight into the Yamaha via HDMI, and feeding the Vizio.
I recently upgraded my Roku Streaming Stick to an Apple TV 4K, routing it through the Yamaha via HDMI. For some reason, I’m getting an overscan on my video image. The picture is pushed in and I can’t find any settings to correct it.
As a test, I plugged in a different Rolu, the Ultra which also has 4K, and I’m getting the same result. Is there a setting in the Yamaha which would tell it to recognize a 4K signal as opposed to a 1080p? Or is it possible that my Vizio isn’t recognizing the 4K output from the Yamaha?
