Yamaha RX-V767 receiver

Had the above receiver for a few years now. It has stopped automatically choosing the sound format of the film/tv programme. Any idea how I can rectify this, if at all?

Question from LW1882 : "Yamaha rx-v767 receiver"

Does anyone know how I set my yamaha receiver to auto decode the sound from tv/PlayStation blu ray? It's a fairly old receiver and it used to automatically decode but now it doesn't and I'm wondering if I've changed the setting by mistake. I cannot update firmware as the model is too old and is not connected to the Internet. Thanks
