youtube no audio in chrome

when i was watching select youtube videos in chrome, i noticed that audio was not comming through. after tinker around, my gaming headset had to be in 7.1 to head it. when i tried the same video(s) in firefox in stereo, i got audio.

Try clearing the cache on chrome...or, re-install chrome.

i forgot to mention that edge wont play the video with sound either
