Youtube won't play but the adds will?

So the weirdest thing happened today, I tried to play multiple YouTube videos on my Laptop and they won't load at all, however the advertisements will. I think that is realllly messed up and I just don't understand how that works. I tried resetting chrome, Running it through Firefox and it just won't run. However Netflix and Facebook videos will run fine. If anyone has any idea how to make my YouTube videos run I will be sooo grateful. All I do is YouTube for entertainment .

Note: videos run fine on Iphone

Try enabling/updating the Adobe Shockwave Flash plug-in or disabling (or removing) it and use your browser's HTML5 capabilities instead. (You could also install Adblock Plus to rid yourself of the Ads, if you wish.)
