Add an Augmented Reality feature listing predicted weather patterns, wind speeds and directions, jump/slope records and other info and these will be even better!

Full HUD-style of course, with the option of disabling. In fact as a safety feature, once the GPS detects you're moving at a certain speed the HUD features automatically disengage.

[citation][nom]greghome[/nom]This is not what I consider an affordable accessory, Where I live, I can buy 300 bowls of pork ball noodles with that kind of money ...........[/citation]

I am pretty sure that $400 is extremely cheap for something like this. I would expect $600 or greater. You know that when VHS's first came out they were $1000-$1500, and people complain about blueray's costing $100. Its new tech.

Very cool, I wish I was involved (or afford to be involved) in more winter sports than just gaming, lmao. :) Anyhow, I cannot help but to think this was created with the Military in mind before the Skiers and Snowboarders.

Most outdoor technology is. Where do you think GPS came from?

That was way too much. I waited a few years until capacities got larger and prices came down, and ended up getting a really great deal to upgrade my PC: 40MB HDD and 8 MB of RAM for ~$2200. Man my computer was so fast after that upgrade!! But now I'm showing my age.

Instead of skiing, I think these would be great for motorcycle riding. You'd be able to see your speed without looking down, plus you'd get the benefit of GPS on road trips.

I'd like to see this technology being applied to and improved on full-face motorcycle helmets. As a gadget lover and a rider, that would make my day.

I'm very surprised I think for a lot of skiers and snowboarders would love this. And it's pretty affordable considering everything. I'm surprised this isn't in the 2g mark.

:( I thought the information would be projected on the glass itself, like they do with speedometers in some cars. Otherwise the idea is awesome.

Can I get one not for skiing? Imagine how cool you would look driving around with something that looks like it belongs in a fighter plane.
