ZTE android not turning on

I recently bought a ZTE grand X2 seemed like a pretty good phone... But it froze so I took the battery out and it won't charge or turn! Is it the software? Or what?

Maybe hardware problem. You said you recently bought it. You should have warranty, go to the shop.

Does the phone turn on when it is plugged in without the battery. If so then it is your battery which you can get changed in the shop as it should still be in warranty, if not then just get the whole phone replaced .

1. Charge the phone.
2. Hold down the on switch till the ZTE splash screen lights (this can seem quite long)
3. Wait. The press the on switch as you normally would to wake the phone.

It seems that once ZTE powers off through battery disconnect or rundown, it is somewhat counter-intuitive to wake it. Such a baby.
