No need to unlock it. US Cellular and Verizon are both CDMA just put your Verizon Sim card in and it'll work. I know first hand, I've been with Verizon since 2003 and I used the Imperial Max with my sim for awhile until I could fix the screen on my Droid. I heard it works with Straight Talk as well. Verizon owns straight talk anyway lol
