Zte lever shut down

My zte lever worked fine for about two weeks then out of no where started having problems charging then one day just shut off and wouldn't come back on. I had to take the non removable back off and unplug the battery for ten seconds then it worked but if I put the back back on it does same thing. Please help.

I can't keep leaving the back off because the case I have let's the power button floor around. Its gonna break off if I don't do something fast.
