Zte n817 Phone

If the phone is thru QLink, it operates through Sprint and good luck with coverage in certain areas of the country. QLink only really supplies the phones but cannot answer a lot of questions regarding the phone's operations or features.

I got mine as an Obama-phone, which are free phones for very low-income people. They service is Virgin Mobile, through Sprint of course. Even as a free phone it's not a bargain and Virgin is making out like a bandit with this government contract. The data service is so slow it's actually worse than the days of dial-up. Most months I use all of my allowed data, having never actually reached a website. The service may be partly to blame as Sprint is notorious in my area for providing little coverage. Yet even with a perfect wifi signal I can rarely load a page. This phone also constantly freezes (it's not uncommon to be forced to end a call by shutting the phone off- and I may not have placed the call, nor was it in my pocket. Hands down the very worst phone and/or internet capable product I've ever experienced.
