MS Outlook 2013 Opens In ‘Deleted Items’ Folder When Initialized

By default MS Outlook 2013 is configured to open in the Inbox folder of its interface when it is initialized by the user. In your case, if your instance of MS Outlook 2013 starts in the Deleted Items folder, the default configuration of the program has been modified either by any incompatible application, or by any novice user that might have somehow managed to gain access to your account.

Although there is no harm in leaving even the modified settings intact because you can simply click to select the Inbox folder and can view all the incoming mails, it is still not a practical approach to initialize the MS Outlook 2013, or any other email client, in the Deleted Items folder.

Since the MS Outlook 2013 program allows the users to add multiple email accounts simultaneously while logging on to a single local computer account, the entire configuration of all the mapped email accounts can be changed by just logging on to one computer account. This makes the whole management process very easy and less time consuming.

By following the instructions given in this tutorial, you will be able to configure the MS Outlook 2013 application to open up in the Inbox container when it is initialized. Here is how:

■Log on to the computer using the account that is experiencing the above discussed issue when initializing the MS Outlook 2013.

■Initialize the MS Outlook 2013 application using any of the well-known methods.

■On the opened interface, go to the FILE tab.

■From the displayed list, go to the Options option.
