sorry forgot to mention in the question.. I need to copy the data from the hd to the ssd. Migrate the data so I can carry on easily from the ssd once all the data of hd copied/restored onto SSD. How can I do this??

memtest86 reduced my total capacity(used & unused) from 8gb to couple of mb and changed the usb. im wondering if windows 7 will do it too

will a usb iso creation of windows 7 pro 64bit reduce my usb capacity like memtest86 does.?

ok i can install the usb version but how do i obtain a license key?? amazon.co.uk will sell me the install cd with the licence, so i was asking how i turn the install cd they send into a usb version ? hope u understand

Thanks Ubrales. How about the samsung data migration software that comes with the 840 pro series ssd. what do you think about using that over the cloning method you mentioned?
