Hello, my key fob will not lock the doors on mt 2007 fj cruiser. The door open warning light stays on and I get a tone like the door is open when I try to lock it with the fob even though all doors are closed. Thank you.

All of a sudden the key fob won't lock or unlock my car. It is a 2007 PRIUS and the remote is not a smart key, it is just a regular fob. I took it to the dealership, but they can't figure it out. THey want to run a $100 computer scan to see what it might be. Does anyone know how to fix it?
