I work for a University and we use a computer in my desk to control a Powerpoint on a hallway display LCD (LG) via Cat6 Shielded Twisted Pair wire, with HDMI Conversion boxes on each end. I've had it plugged in and working for about a year now, but it only worked in MIRROR mode, NOT EXTENDED...

I have an HP Pavilion dv9700 that has a split screen with a mirror image. I see that there are others who have the same problem. Does anyone have a solution or did HP respond to anyone with a fix for this? It will go away after rebooting several times, but then it re-appears. Any fixes, PLEASE!!
