<1000 school and light(er) gaming laptop

Hello,
I am looking for a laptop that is good for schoolwork i.e: slideshows, faster internet speed, etc.
For the gaming part the biggest games I'd play would be Arma 2; Dayz mod, War Thunder, and Garrys Mod, which I am comfortable with playing on mid-high settings. All responses are helpful.

At that price point this best card you can get is 960m. GL551JW-DS71 is the best you can get supporting that gpu, i7 4720hq processor, and 1 tb hard drive. It's also has a very solid keyboard.

Look into acer v nitro series, msi ge series or the asus gl series.
