I am doing all my web developing work in my 24 inch FHD screen.
Bought a cheap 300$ laptop last month ,and it was a mistake, it had a bad display - sold it.

Now I am looking for a better laptop, will be using it indoor only, as a secondary PC.
there are 14 inch laptops with 1366x768 display, which will be light weight.
or
15.6 inch laptop with higher resolution of 1920x1080 ?
Mac wont work for me as I need Windows, installing Windows in Mac is just waste on money.
Whatever resolution the resolution, I will look for DDR4 RAM laptops.

US $800 is my budget. I dont feel comfortable in spending more than that.
US $1000 MAX

I am from India, and of the laptops available in US/UK wont be available here.
I am thinking of buying ASUS R558UR (i5 6200, 4GB DDR4, 15" FHD, USB Type-C, no OS whcih costs less than $800)

Dunno why you would need laptop as secondary PC indoor, but what is your budget ?
Will you drag it with you around/moving between houses and so on ?
Since you are already working @ 24inch FHD, Full HD laptop will be definitely more to your liking.

Here is a good laptop for you.
Relatively lightweight and comes in at $629 USD.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834315303
Has all the features you asked for and more, except for USB Type-C which is typically only available on newer models, which are pretty pricy on Newegg.
You can pay for shipping to India if you want, which may be more expensive, or you can recommend me a domestic retailer you want to buy from, so I can do some more localized searching.

DDR4 doesn't provide a big boost over DDR3, performs very similarly.

As I mentioned in my posts, most of the good laptops available in other countries are not available in India.
I have shortlisted some models available here.
But confused between screen size and resolution !!

1080p is what you want to aim for. Much higher density resolution.
The Asus model you've listed is a relatively good deal if you are buying it locally due to import taxes, especially given that it has a USB Type-C connector.
OS is a big issue though, give me some retailers near you and a budget in rupees and i'll sort something out.

I have contacted some wholesale dealers, they said this model has high demand. This laptop costs $642 from wholesale dealers. Retailed will sell it for near $700!!
I have decided to wait 15 more days as there is a festival season coming in my state.
There will be some offers.

Okay, good to know! :)
If you feel the need to, run your purchase by here if you're not sure whether it's worth it when the time comes.
Typically as long as it has a 6th generation i5 or a decent i7, a 1080p display and a thunderbolt in your case, it should be fine.
