14 inch - 768 P with I5 8250U vs 1080P with AMD Ryzen 5

I am trying to choose between these 2 options. AMD one comes with a higher resolution but my perception is AMD has heat & blue screen (this model, in particular) issues. Could any of the experts here throw some light on what to choose. Appreciate Your help.

Main use of the laptop is browsing, MS Office and movies.
