My Laptop wont turn on when Power Plug is connected to the laptop.
I press power button, nothing happen. no light, no fan.

If I disconnect the power plug and press power button, (only with laptop battery) laptop turn on. no warning sign/ message. runs perfectly.

I tried different wall power outlet, but still have same problem.

my Alienware power plug/adapter has LED light on the plug, and it still lids up, and CHARGES laptop battery perfectly.

I don't have any clue whats wrong with it.
please help me with this strange problem.

Hi,

Do test the AC adapter first if it's supplying enough voltage to charge or power the laptop. If the AC adapter is working fine, try and remove the battery and plug in the AC adapter and see if your laptop will boot up normally. If it does boot up just fine while the battery is out chances are it's the battery that has the issue. But if it doesn't boot up with just the charger that means it's the charger then.
