Hello. About a month ago my computer stopped working. The fans turned on as well as the LED's, however the monitors and peripherals did not turn on. After reading some articles, I performed a a CMOS battery reset. That fixed it. At the time I was using my Ryzen 5 2400g's APU, but it wasnt strong enough, so I switched to my GeForce GTX 750. After doing so, none of my 3.5mm audio jacks work - whether its an input or output jack. My microphone and headphones are detected as High Definition Audio Devices, however they dont input or output any audio. Something I have noticed is that my headphones occasionally output a static whooshing noise for about a second every minute or so.

Specs:
Ryzen 5 2400G
8GB DDR4
GeForce GTX 750
MSI A320M Prp-VH Plus

Using Beats EP as headphones and BM-800 as mic

Solution
set the headphone as default audio device in the windows sound configuration.
Most probably the digital HDMI sound was activated as default by windows while installing the 750
