3.5mm microphone and headphone jack dont work ? can someone help me fix it?

So i tried a bunch of earphones and headsets to my 3.5mm pc jack, none of them work... I just want to be able to chat online etc...

is it your front panel connector or rear ?

Both, I even switch HD AUDIO and AC'97 and see if both of them work, and they dont..

do you have a sound card i mean external ?
clean your registry with registry cleaner or something similar check in device manager the audio drivers are showing any ! sign.
