Well there are some laptops available in the market which has amd a6 or a8 processor at the price of $300.
Amd a series processor are known for both cpu and gpu in a single chip. Intel skylake and kabylake processors also comes with good intergrated graphics but they are expensive in comparison of amd a series laptops.
It actually depends on which AMD APU (and it's graphics core) you are trying to compare to which Intel CPU (and graphics core).
Below are CSGO benchmarks for 4 Intel graphic core and 4 AMD graphic cores. A screenshot and link to the website is provided. They are as follows; the number in the left column represent the overall rank of the graphics core and clicking the name of the graphics core will bring to to a webpage with additional information about it:
Radeon R5 (Stoney Ridge) - AMD A9-9410
Radeon R6 (Carrizo) - AMD A8-8800p & AMD A10-8700p
Radeon R5 (Beema) - AMD A8-7410
Radeon R4 (Beema) - AMD A6-7310
Intel HD 620 - 7th generation Intel Core i3 / i5/ i7
Intel HD 520 - 6th generation Intel Core i3 / i5/ i7
Intel HD 5500 - 5th generation Intel Core i3 / i5/ i7
Intel HD 4000 - 3rd generation Intel Core i3 / i5/ i7

Theses graphic core can generally be found in laptops priced at $400 or less.on Amazon.com; the exception would be the A8-8800p since it appears there are no laptops with that APU for sale on Amazon.
While the Radeon R5 (Stone Ridge) in the A9-9410 is newer than the Radeon R5 (Beema/Carrizo-L) in the older A8-7410 and Radeon R4 (Beema) in the older A6-7310, I am actually surprised that it performs worse.
