30hz Through HD Soundbar

I bought a JVC sound bar the other day and for about a week it was working perfectly. now all of a sudden i can only get 30hz at 1080p and the only way to reach 60hz is to go to 720p. at 30hz the monitor is making a stuttering motion and is horrible, any idea on how to fix it?

May be stupid question: What video' refresh rate / resolution (30Hz, 60Hz, 1080p. 720p) has to do with audio device such as a soundbar?

Because the HDMI is running through the sound bar
