Solved! 32Gsd card in dash cam

My dash cam is compatible from 8G - 32G sd cards...I put in a 32G card but the camera is still only recording as if the 8G card was still in. Any ideas how to fix this?

First step would be to check support for this dash cam. Maybe you need to re-format the card.

It supports the card...it was brand new when I put it in, still only recorded 8G

Maybe you bought a dodgy SD card?

Reformat it in the camera. See what happens.
If it still fails, send it back.

I reformatted card and reset camera and it worked!! Thanks for trying to help!!
