4 choices left, which and why?

Hi guys, I am about to head off to college and am looking to get a nice light laptop. After a lot of searching I have decided that one of a certain 4 acers would be best, but would like some help deciding which.
The 4 I am looking at are as follows:

For some background on what I need, I want a light laptop with at least 13" screen, but 14-15 was my aim. I will be using primarily for web and average student tasks, although I do like gaming some. I don't expect to need heavy gaming ability though, mostly lighter games such as League of Legends, WarRock, or Team Fortress II perhaps (haven't played TFII in forever though...).
I realize these computers don't have an optical drive, I plan on buying one separately.
Lastly, and this will obviously effect which computer you suggest, opinions on AMD? Some people I have talked to in person, including my parent's college tech guy say that it isn't significantly worse, but a lot of what I have read on here makes it sound like AMD is much worse.

quad core CPU - the intel is only a dual core
6 gigs of ram - the most of the selections given
larger HDD - 500 is kinda small
good screen size - 15" is a good size and very usable
amd graphics work well will the mobility GPU
the GPU has 2 gigs of VRAM

also as far as intel goes it is only better when going for strict gaming and when you are considering gaming nobody is talking about these ultra low voltage chips.

I think AMD will be the best fit and having the quad core is good, although the dual core intels do run 4 threads.

I would look over the lenovo site they have some good back to school deals going on also.

are very similar.
CPU- one you suggested is better, but how much?
ram- if I bought this one from newegg, I would get an addition 2gb ram to add
HDD- 500 should be enough for me, my current is less and I haven't filled it
everything else is the same.
Is the better CPU worth the extra money (taking into account the fact that I would be buying 2gb ram to add to the less expensive one)?

that laptop you linked only has one ram slot it looks like so you may want to see if it has an additional slot because it says one total and one available, also if you have a 4 gig stick in there you would have to pair it with another same brand same size stick.

all of these laptop CPUs are pretty close for what they are expected to do. you really just have to see how much that RAM is and then compare prices.

but I like that metal case better. it also has four speakers i believe. every bit of power you can get from a CPU will be useful, not much but a little and especially when any kind of game is being played

Ahh I had not actually noticed the number of slots, just knew that both were able to go up to 12 gb of ram. They do each in fact have only 1 slot, and I am having trouble finding a 6 gb ram card for the v5-551g-8632, but it looks as if it would probably be fairly expensive (more than $50). so the a10 is the new CPU architecture so it will be faster than just the boost in MHz that you see so i would definitely go with that one. that combined with the ram and HDD space makes it worth it. music files and movie files are getting larger everyday so the extra HDD space could very easily be needed at the end of three years. especially if you consider at that point you could transition your computer to a media center or something when you get a new computer.
