40BG Nomad Jukebox??

Anybody successfully used an IBM Travelstar 40GN to replace drive/upgrade an originally 6.5GB Creative Nomad Jukebox??

I haven't seen any articles on modding MP3 players but I want to know about the possibility of swaping the HD and using the device as an external HD as well as an MP3 player.

It surprises me that I've seen sites touting Mobile phone mods but nothing about MP3's.
