LG VX4400 - I always charge it in the cradle with the phone on. I was
told be a VZ tech that it's better to charge it with the phone off.

Is this true? Does it really make any difference other than its taking
a little longer to charge with the phone on?

TIA

Louise

It doesn't matter if it is on or off, although it won't actually charge if
you are making a call (between send and end), but after you hit end, it
starts charging again. Handy if you have a charging cradle at work, leave it
in their on your desk and it charges while you work.

PS, Verizon didn't sell them in the past (charging cradles), that may be why
the tech told you that nonsense, now that they sell an item that actually
charges when on, they don't say that anymore :)

I do not think that is matters. I charge my phone with it on or off. It
seems to take the same amount of time to charge. So I guess it is a matter
of user preference.

I"ve always charged with the phone on. My phone is on 24/7. Doesn't make a
difference that I am aware of
