7" tablet wont come on

I have 7" RCA tablet wont come on. Looks like is charging but won't come on. Tried re setting it

Sometimes the battery is so dead it won't allow power to the system so if you gently ease the back off the tablet and if the battery is removeable, take it out.

Plug the power cable in and see if that makes the device usable then remove the power lead and use a USB lead to back up your data to a PC.
