720p vs 1080p 42" TV gaming at 10 feet away

Hello guys I would like to know if there would be a difference playing PC games at 720p vs 1080p on a 42" TV, at 10 feet away. I play on a 720p 42" TV at 1080p (down scaled to TV´s native resolution), it looks really great due to the natural image of Plasma technology.

But I am wondering if playing on a 1080p 42" TV would make a difference at 10 feet away, I know that playing closer to the TV it would be much better, but not sure at 10 feet away?

10 feet away, probably not a big difference and if you have a lower powered PC, running at 720p would take a lot less processing power.
