800 dollar budget

Going back to school and I gave my self a budget of 800 bucks.

Requirments
17.3 screen( would do a 15.6 with a 3rd gen i7)
dedicated video card (or maybe "discrete" one to)

mainly school work but also some gaming on the side when I get bored and to lazy to go to the desktop lol

so any help is appreciated. Ive been goggling and searching for a week and I feel like I am missing ALOT out there.

I'm partial to Asus personally so I would go with that one but the HP would be good too. I personally think the Asus is better build quality. The HP would probably be better for light gaming even though the 630 in the Asus is more than capable for gaming at low settings. And the Asus is a third gen i7.
