9.5 mm or 12.7 mm optical bay hard drive caddy

I have an Acer aspire e5-573g and I'm wondering what the optical drive bay size is. The laptop originally does not have a disk drive so I have no way to find out the slot size. The acer website says absolutely nothing about the DVD bay. So should I get the 9.5 mm hard drive caddy or the 12.7 mm one?

The compatible size of the hard drive caddy depends on the size of the laptop itself. Laptops that are large in size can have 12.7 mm caddy whereas the smaller ones, 9.5 mm.

For confirmation, you best bet would be to refer to the user manual that came along with your laptop or contact Acer's Customer Support Team on 1-800-882-0652 to get the exact dimensions.
