940MX running Minecraft at 50-60fps!!

Hello, I have recently bought a Asus Vivobook Flip TP501UQ-DN103T and it runs other games fine (I think) but Minecraft runs at 50- 60fps on high settings, i've seen people with the same specs as me run at 100-120 on high with optifine, can someone please tell me whats going on, I have the latest driver and java..

EDIT: I have also made sure in Nvidia Control Panel that java is to run on my 940mx and not my integrated graphics.
