I plan on streaming video games for fun off my pc,and would like to have commintary, but There might be lots of outside sounds,so is there any headsets that have mics. That would allow me to record my voice but not the game or anyone talking in the same room?
I used an Andrea ANC-750 Anti-Noise headset some years ago - around 2005 I think. I was using it outside and it worked pretty well but didn't catch everything. It did OK on nearby traffic and ambient noise in an airport but didn't do much to block somewhat low airplanes overhead or really loud public address systems, the latter being in the frequency range of the human voice which is what they allow to pass through. So its effectiveness will really depend on the situation where you'll be using it. It did an excellent job on low to medium level human voice close around you though - like the crowd in an airport.
Search "background sound cancelling microphone". I'm guessing there are better ones available today.
