A little help with Frostwire/Limewire speed problem

Hi there...

I recently upgrade my PC and got a fresh new install of windows xp.....i went to DL Frostwire as I usually do but it runs very slow now on this PC. i read about Java updating which i have done, i have the most recent. But it just runs slow, when i click on the scroll bar to slow it doesnt respond until seconds later and it moves very choppy since it wont move on command. Same thing when i click the sort columns, it takes a couple seconds to repsond....basically everything does.

it ran fine on my oold version and on my wife's computer as well.

i have a e8500
asus maximus formula
4g corsair dominator (only reads 3.25 but thats 32bit for ya)
2 250g WD hard drives
7900 gT evga card

i read about this in searches but most answers seem to relate to java and i feel i took care of that, but something i still making it drag.

any ideas? solutions?

noone has any ideas about this? Man, i was really hoping someone had this experience and could fill me in on the problem. I feel like maybe its a setting or something but i cant seem to figure it out....

so please any insight would be greatly appreciated!
