[citation][nom]Nexus52085[/nom]Guess I'm a 25 year-old kid who has always wanted to play games like pilot wings and fucking star fox in 3-D. I really am interested in this piece of tech, but the 3DS seems to be a bit more fun for me. I simply don't look at a handheld as an extension of a console. Sony does. If it works for them, fine. The problem is that, in the past, it hasn't. I'm not ready to drop a butt load of cash on a device that's based on a failed philosophy.I have to hand it to them, though. I really didn't think we were this close to seeing true quad-core cpu's in a handheld.[/citation]
Well said. I'm 25 as well and have loved all the franchises nintendo brought. I'll be waiting for the 3DS in more colors and will probably pick one up when I see more selection in games I like. Nintendo is the biggest player in the handheld market, and their track record is proven with great games/innovation. 3D does seem gimmickly to me atm, but who knows, maybe it'll really be something awesome when the 3ds arrives. Even then, if you don't like, you can always turn it off. Props to Sony if they can turn a profit on this thing, I wouldn't shell out $ for it though. 250$ on the 3Ds is pushing it for me, this will certainly cost more.
