Hooking up DVD player to the TV I can't get the DVD player to play through the TV my cables are hooked up wrong I don't know what are ways it supposed to be on is it supposed to be on a z or h d m v help

No way to know how they should be connected without knowing what connections they have, both Sceptre and Sony make a lot of different products with different connections. Need model numbers of both things.
