It's basically in the title. I'm looking for a set of speakers, 2.1 or 5.1, which have a lot of good bass. From $100 - $400 max. Any ideas from anyone? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for you help guys, but the AV 40 only has a frequency Response of 85Hz - 20kHz, I'm looking for something that has nice and low frequency, like 20Hz, at least. Thanks
Scanlia, at your budget you need to go to craigslist/garage sales and start bargaining on some vintage gear. $400 is a pipe dream for a subwoofer alone to hit 20 Hz, -3db @ 90 Hz, and you want speakers and a subwoofer for $400. You need to set asside at least $600 for the subwoofer if you want that kind of performance.
MEgamer :
w8 i dont see how ull connect then up. unless your gonna run then through a preamp.
If it's for a computer setup--that's my assumption--then all he needs are two pairs of RCA to 3.5mm splitters. It's basic with no bass...

Thanks guys, I have a look around then and probably not go for as low as something like 20Hz then, I just remember listening to some sick low bass music and I wanted something like that, I've found the Logitech Z-5500D Speakers, so I think they should do for now, At least they go down to 33Hz, I'll just boost the bass on my computer or something. Thanks!
